DIY: Studding

This weekend has got to be one the the laziest I've had in a while, so this DIY came to mind. It's really simple, but I still feel somewhat accomplished. After reorganizing my shoe closet, I found my beloved converse from years ago (4 to be exact). It's definitely been a while, therefore a shoe makeover seemed fitting.

Coinciding with my recent infatuation with tumblr, I knew exactly what I wanted to do with these old chucks. My pyramid studs were ordered from etsy because I just couldn't find them in any stores. Shipping did take quite some time, since it was sent from halfway across the globe. The quality is pretty great and they're really easy to put on, definitely worth it. Studding both took me around an hour (25 studs per shoe), quicker than most other DIYs I've done.

All this is just feeding my studs and spikes obsession. I can't wait to style them, maybe with distressed boyfriend jeans? Sadly, I'll probably need to hold out for warmer weather to wear these. In the meantime, can't wait for the snow to come and the rain to stop.

Cheers,
J
